To commemorate 175 years of Woodbridge Life – a local village nearby – we embarked on a project with a couple of locals to create a cookbook of recipes from the community. Some traditional recipes dating back generations, as well new comers.
In an effort to make the cookbook as authentic as possible, we kept the layout very simple and engaged local illustrator Mei Yen to create the illustrations for the book. Whilst being a very big job, we enjoyed reading and testing out many of the recipes and requesting more and more illustrations for the vast majority of the recipes.
Sales of the cookbook has helped to raise money for the local Woodbridge Community and has bought a lot of joy to readers both local and abroad.
